By Lowering Our Already Low Rates!

ATU has now lowered its already low rates to help individuals of all ages and income levels participate in our commercial flight training programs.  To reduce the cost of your flight instruction we offer you two choices:
    (1) You can choose to do the pilot training or flight instruction portion of your program in Kansas City (where aircraft and flight instructor costs are lower than the national average), or
    (2) You can finish your flight training at home and we'll help you arrange for aircraft and flight instruction with one or more local flight instructors.   (This will save you 40% of the total cost of an aviation career package by eliminating the expenses involved in attending a distant flight school).

Most flight schools put four to six ratings in a typical aviation career package.  By doing your flight training in Kansas City you can earn up to nine ratings in the same period of time.  You can also easily complete your education and test requirements in our accelerated flight training program.  With this option you can move rapidly through your pilot training without costly delay.

By Giving You Your Choice of Aircraft and Training Location!

ATU eliminates the “markups” found in most flight schools.  When you do your professional flight training in Kansas City you will have your choice of aircraft and flight training location.   If you find it inconvenient to spend an extended period of time with us, you can complete the remainder of your accelerated program at home.  ATU will help you arrange for the services of a local flight instructor to finish your flight requirements.

Professional Tailoring means that your programs is designed to reflect your interests. Every effort is made to respect your life-style and adult responsibilities.  You can always lengthen or shorten the time involved in your flight training program.  If you're coming from a distance you can quickly complete our accelerated education and testing courses.  You can then return home to complete your flight instruction with an flight instructor of your choice.

By Offering You Seven Different Career Paths!

ATU offers you 7 paths to successful aviation jobs.  These include: the commuter airlines, air taxi and charter work, cargo and freight operations, corporate flying, full- and part-time training positions, and the opportunity to establish a full-time aviation business of your own.  Contact us to talk about your preferences.

Flight instruction is typically the only income-earning opportunity found in most flight schools.  This option rarely meets your income needs for additional flight work.   By participating in a number of our aviation-related programs at ATU you can earn flight hours as well as significant income.  You can use this income to pay for additional flight training.  These programs provide immediate benefits to local students but several programs are available to those of you doing the bulk of your flight training elsewhere. 

By Transforming Half Your Flight Training Costs Into A Tax-Deductible Expense!

ATU offers you the opportunity to help finance your pilot training by becoming one of our independent contractors.  This option will permit half of your flight training costs to qualify as a tax-deductible expense!  As an independent contractor your business would involve  promoting, developing, selling, and conducting pilot education and flight training services.   A modified form of this option is available to those of you doing the bulk of your flight training outside of Kansas City.   You'll want to contact us to discuss this unique opportunity further.
